Optimal Traffic Manager®
Optimal Traffic Manager® (OTM®), enables carriers to carry out effective route planning and to manage all processes associated to the commerce of traffic termination. OTM® is a solution that enables the complete control of the business critical aspects in order to develop the most appropriate strategies to generate LCR, optimize operating efficiency, reduce interconnection costs, enhance service quality and provide key information for decision-making.

NETWORK MANAGEMENT

Routing Management: It manages and monitors all carrier’s network elements, updating the state of the different switches, the routes connecting carriers and the capacity of the links. This module not only manages switched telephony business but Voice over IP business as well. |

Quality of Service Management:
As a result of the analysis of traffic and switches, OTM® provides the possibility to automatically generate different quality indicators. The calculated indicators include: ASR, ABR, ACD, ALOC, operating margin, CLI, roaming, call setup time, call success ratio, call setup rate, latency, jitter, packet loss, etc. |

Traffic Management:
OTM® provides all the information about traffic routed through the switches. In order to make a better use of resources, the system makes it possible to learn about routes availability; this is obtained based on their capacity and the analysis of routed / projected traffic. |

Routing Provisioning:
OTM® manages the interfaces with different switches providers and technologies, in order to both retrieve the configuration and to be able to generate the dynamic routing by means of the automatic programming of the switch based on the decisions made by the commercial area, provided by the purchases and sales modules. |
COSTS MANAGEMENT
This module captures and validates all the information from received offers, existing bilateral agreements, traffic commitments, routed traffic to each destination (real and estimated) and generates the Cost Base. In the cost calculation it is also possible to analyze, the capacity and availability of routes and the different indicators provided by the switches. The resulting Costs base makes it possible to decide whether to accept received offers and it is the input to determine sales prices.
PURCHASES MANAGEMENT
It receives all offer files sent by the carriers in different formats and standardizes the received destinations with the operator´s own “Master of Destinations”. In this way, it guarantees that it will be possible to accurately compare all offers when executing the ranking. The different offers tariffs are automatically analyzed considering the generated Costs base, and a ranking is obtained as a result. The system will also take into account parameters such as network indicators (ASR, ABR, CLI, PDD), capacity, committed traffic, black lists, routes preferences, purchases targets, working days and holidays, and time band (normal/reduced), and the like.
SALES MANAGEMENT
Enables the automatic generation of Price Lists that will vary depending on set mark-ups, the type of product and the carrier or customer segment to which they are sent.
The Purchase Prices are established taking into consideration the Base Cost (according to the different options the operator has to route the traffic to each destination), the sales targets, existing agreements, committed volumes, black lists, special offers for holidays or working days and time bands, among others.
ALARMS AND MONITORING
By means of configurable alarms, it is possible to control all business critical aspects, considering routes activity, networks, ASRs, PDDs, capacity, profitability, negative margins, traffic commitments, congestion, etc.
The monitoring reports enable the real-time continuous monitoring and commercial follow-up of the different areas involved in the business, using a flexible and easy-to-use graphic tool.
MANAGEMENT REPORTS
The reports are based on a fully integrated Data Warehouse Solution, with which it is possible to obtain strategic benefits due to its potentiality. All the information generated and stored by the different products of the CARRIERS-interconnect® suite is available in a single repository, so that users can have quick and accurate access to all integrated information and support intelligent decision-making.
BUSINESS MODELS
It executes the simulation of the different business models that carriers need to analyze according to tariffs and traffic volume, in order to be later implemented in the company and reduce costs, improve productivity, quality and business margins. The simulation is carried out based traffic parameters, financial performance and flexible algorithms, which make it possible to suggest the best routing strategies.
