Operators require an LCR solution that goes beyond price optimization and that is based on capability, quality and other factors closely related to the business. Once the Optimal Routing has been generated, it is necessary to transfer such Routing Plan to the switches in MML form, or by means of other switches’ commands to the supply system so that the routings can be dynamically changed.
Wholesale market needs are going through a transition from a static model substantially based on data obtained from CDR periodically collected to a dynamic model in which, apart from increasing the CDR’s frequency of collection and the data they contain, data are also collected in real or quasi real time from the switches with the purpose of acting on them when the business analysis so requires.
At the same time, we would like to introduce Alerts and varied strategic Information as Indicators of Business monitoring, in real or quasi real time, based on the data directly collected from the switches or card indexes and counters. This information is really useful for users and wholesale business analysts who use it as support when making decisions.
